Ross Dress for Less Set to Open at Redeveloped Upland Retail Center

Ross Dress for Less plans to open a new store in Upland next month. The 23,500-square-foot store is located in the Upland Village Center at the northeast corner of East Foothill Boulevard and Euclid Avenue.

The 150,000-square-foot property at 229 E. Foothill Blvd. is being redeveloped by Costa Mesa, CA-based Wood Investments Companies. The 1968-built asset, in the heart of an established retail corridor, was purchased by Wood Investments in 2017 for $18.5 million.

Other tenants signed on at the property include a 40,000-square-foot Burlington Coat Factory store, as well as Raising Cane’s, MOD Pizza, Chop Stop and Blink Fitness, which join existing tenants, 99 Cents Only store and Laser Island.

The opening brings Ross’ California footprint to 306 stores and a total of 1,482 locations. The Dublin, CA-based retailer operates more than 1,700 off-price apparel and home fashion stores in 38 states, the District of Columbia, and Guam.
