Rosenberg & Estis Promotes Ethan Cohen as the New head of Appellate Litigation
Rosenberg & Estis has promoted Ethan R. Cohen as the new head of the firm’s appellate litigation department, succeeding Jeffrey Turkel, who is now special counsel. Cohen, a former Appellate Court Attorney at the State of New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department, joined R&E’s Litigation Department in 2014 and became a member of the firm in 2022. He will oversee all of Rosenberg & Estis’ appellate matters and advise companies on high-stakes appellate issues.

Cohen has played a substantial role in multiple high-profile appellate cases at New York’s highest appellate court, including the pivotal Court of Appeals’ decisions in Casey v Whitehouse Estates, Inc. (2023) and Community Renewal (2020).
