Rose Complex Master Plan to Receive Public Input
The Tyler (TX) Parks and Recreation department entered into an agreement with Halff Associates in September to create a master plan for the Rose Garden Complex. The next step is public input, which will be taking place throughout the first part of this year. The final master plan is schedule to be completed by mid-summer.
The complex is a 14-acre park at 420 Rose Park Dr., and the master plan is geared toward sprucing up the complex, which includes the Harvey Convention Center and the Tyler Rose Garden. The end goal is to create a destination space used all year around, instead of for large events such as the Texas Rose Festival.
