Billion-dollar start-up auto-insurance company Root Insurance was the first to sign a lease in 2625 at Chandler Freeway Crossing, a recently-delivered, 153,370-square-foot office building in Chandler, AZ. The tenant is using the 38,000-square-foot space as its first office expansion outside of its Columbus, OH headquarters. The company plans to grow local operations by more than 400 employees over the next five years.

Tom Adelson, Erin McClure and Cory Kooperman, CCIM, with NKF, represented the tenant in its lease at 2625 W. Geronimo Place. Dave Seeger with JLL represented the landlord, Mark IV Capital.

“As we sought a location to expand our services in support of growing customer demand from the West Coast, the Phoenix region stood out,” said Root Insurance’s Clara Kridler. Added Adelson with NKF: “2625 at Chandler Freeway Crossing was chosen because of the growth potential, amenities and proximity to an educated workforce that it offered.”
