Rooker to Develop 600-Acre Business Park in Commerce

Real estate development, design and construction management firm Rooker has acquired 600 acres of undeveloped land in Commerce, GA for an undisclosed price. The firm plans to build Bana 85 Commerce Center, a six million-square-foot Class A business and logistics park at the site.

Road and utility construction will begin in 2020, as well as grading for an initial site to accommodate 1.5 million square feet. The property will have sites available in a range of sizes for build-to-suit or user sales in the warehousing, distribution and manufacturing sectors.

Rooker acquired the 600 acres of undeveloped land by assembling multiple properties in the area. The land acquisition included a number of industrial-zoned parcels and three commercial zoned land parcels. Brent Story of Avalon Real Estate Partners represented the undisclosed sellers in the transaction.
