Roland Merchant Joins HFF as Senior Managing Director
Roland S. Merchant, Jr. joined HFF’s New York office as a senior managing director, concentrating on investment sales and structured transactions.
“Roland has a wealth of experience, deep relationships and thorough real estate knowledge,“ said Andrew Scandalios, senior managing director and co-head of HFF’s New York office.
Merchant has been involved in over $20 billion of investment sales, joint venture equity, debt placement and loan sale transactions. He has worked in finance, sales and real estate investment banking for more than 20 years, most recently with Eastdil Secured LLC. He also served as an investment banking associate in the Capital Markets Group at Cushman & Wakefield and the Leveraged Finance Group at Merrill Lynch.
