Rockwood Capital Elevates Two to Partner

New York-based Rockwood Capital LLC has promoted Andrew Blanchard and Niraj Shah to partners of the firm.

Walter Schmidt, senior managing partner, said, “Andrew and Niraj are incredibly deserving of their promotions to partner. Andrew has made significant contributions to Rockwood’s commingled fund business and separate account business, most recently as a portfolio manager.”

For his part, Shah has “successfully spearheaded the development of Rockwood’s structured products platform,” adds Schmidt. Both are long-tenured members of the team, who have exhibited not only expertise in their respective disciplines, but also a firm commitment to client service.”

Peter Kaye, managing partner, added, “Niraj and Andrew are incredibly-talented real estate professionals who bring enthusiasm and creativity to their roles. We expect both to remain drivers of our business for many years to come.”

Blanchard, based in San Francisco, joined Rockwood in 2004. The New York-based Shah joined in 2008.
