Rockland Trust Commercial Lending Team Adds Three New Lenders 

Rockland Trust has added three new lenders to its commercial banking division. Claudius Zorokong has joined as a commercial loan officer, focusing on lending and investing in affordable multifamily housing developed through the use of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits in Massachusetts. Zorokong previously worked at Bank of America as a relationship manager and co-chaired their Black Professional Group in Boston.  

Tyrone D. Billingsly has been appointed as vice president of Commercial Lending Officer, with a focus on the medical and dental industries, as well as C&I, CRE, and construction lending. Billingsly brings over a decade of commercial banking experience, including roles at Bank of America and HarborOne Bank.  

Manuel Vales has joined as senior vice president of Commercial Loan Officer for the Providence commercial lending team in Rhode Island. With 35 years of experience, Vales will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing commercial client relationships. Prior to joining Rockland Trust, Vales held various roles at Hospital Trust/BankBoston, Sovereign/Santander, and Berkshire Bank.
