Rockefeller to Develop 12-Acre Industrial Park in Chula Vista

Rockefeller Group has acquired a 12-Acre parcel and will begin construction next month on Heritage Industrial Park, a three-building, 201,000 square foot facility in Chula Vista, CA. It will be the firm’s second development in south San Diego after completing construction of Airway Industrial Park in Otay Mesa, CA.

“E-commerce and third-party logistics companies are driving demand for industrial space in the South San Diego area and we are happy to secure another parcel of land within this market,” said Rockefeller’s Marc Berg in a news release. “By developing three buildings in the small to mid-size range, we are giving prospective users options where vacancy rates for Class A industrial are low.”

Heritage Industrial Park is located on Heritage Road in Chula Vista and will include a 105,000-square-foot building, as well as a 56,000-square-foot and a 40,000-square-foot building. The three properties will be developed on separate parcels and will be offered for lease or sale.
