Rockefeller Plans $110M, 1.5M-SF Distribution Center
New York-based Rockefeller Group plans to develop Optimus Logistics Center, a 1.45-million-square-foot industrial project in Perris, CA for $110 million. The speculative development encompasses two buildings expected to be used as e-commerce distribution facilities.
The complex is located on 68.5 acres north of Ramona Expressway, between Interstate 215 and Webster Avenue. The two warehouses sit adjacent to each other, and share a common private road for primary truck access. The logistics facility is capable of providing same-day delivery to 20 million consumers.
Construction is planned to commence shortly, and the buildings are slated to be completed by summer 2018. The facility’s loading bays can accommodate 232 trucks simultaneously, and it has 36-foot clear heights.
