Rockefeller Group, Stonebridge Top Off Penn Quarter Office Building

Rockefeller Group and Stonebridge, in partnership with Clark Construction, celebrated the topping out of 600 Fifth Street NW in Washington, DC. The 400,000-square-foot building is 50% pre-leased and is being constructed on the site of the former Metro headquarters. The $375 million project is expected to deliver in the next two years and features a shared tenant-amenity space on the 12th floor with outdoor terraces and Capitol views.

The building, occupying a full city block, will include four additional stories and open-air terraces on every other floor. Crowell & Moring has already signed a long-term lease for approximately 199,000 square feet. The project is designed by Pickard Chilton and Kendall Heaton Associates. CBRE’s Scott Frankel, Carroll Cavanagh, Dimitri Hajimihalis, Emily Eppolito and DJ Callahan are the exclusive leasing agents for 600 Fifth Street NW.

“Coming on the heels of the Mayor’s announcement about plans to invest in the Capital One Arena and surrounding neighborhood, we are even more thrilled to step closer to completion.” said Douglas Firstenberg, a Principal at Stonebridge.
