The Rockefeller Group seems very pleased with its renovation of 1221 Sixth Ave. at Rockefeller Center. Since work finished in 2016, tenants have leased or released 400,000 square feet of office space.

In January, the latest tenant signed a 143,000-square-foot lease: a wholly-owned subsidiary of Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. “We are thrilled to add Endurance to the impressive and diverse tenant roster at 1221,” said Ed Guiltinan, senior vice president and head of leasing in New York for Rockefeller Group.

Occupancy in the 2.6-million-square-foot building stands at approximately 95%. There are now only three full floors and one partial floor available at the 60-story, 1960s office tower,
