Rockefeller Begins Construction on Nearly 2M-SF of Spec Development
Rockefeller Group commenced construction on two Inland Empire industrial projects totaling nearly two million square feet. The speculative developments include Tri-City Industrial Complex, a 19-acre site located at 1333 South Tippecanoe Ave. in San Bernardino, CA, and Optimus Logistics Center, a 68-acre site located along the I-215 corridor in Perris, CA.
Tri-City Industrial Complex will include two industrial distribution buildings totaling 425,535 square feet. Optimus Logistics Center (pictured) will also include two buildings totaling approximately 1.4 million square feet. The projects, which are the company’s first industrial developments in the Inland Empire, are expected to be completed in the third and fourth quarters of 2018.
JLL’s Mike McCrary and Peter McWilliams are handling leasing for Optimus. Cushman & Wakefield’s Chuck Belden, Kyle Kehner, Milo Lipson, Tim Pimentel and Ryan Velasquez are leasing for Tri-City.
