Rock Group Trades Piscataway Facility to IT Tenant

SHI International, among North America’s 10 largest IT solutions providers, purchased a 396,750-square-foot building at Rockefeller Group Logistics Center in Piscataway, NJ for $59.5 million. SHI will use the building, developed expressly for use by an IT tenant, primarily for IT configuration. It’s the fourth building sold at the center this year.

“The addition of SHI to Rockefeller Group Logistics Center shows the growing diversity of logistics parks, that they can attract uses other than warehousing and distribution,” said Heath Abramsohn, Rockefeller Group’s regional director for the New Jersey and Pennsylvania region.

He added, “SHI had a unique vision for their integration center, and we were able to accommodate them by developing a facility that could serve as a high-end IT configuration center with a large number of employees.”

Cushman & Wakefield’s Stan Danzig, Jules Nissim and Marc Petrella represented the seller. Cushman & Wakefield’s Shawn Straka advised SHI.

Connect Industrial 2019 is coming to Houston on Nov. 19. For more information, or to register, click here.
