Robinson Weeks Partners Enters Memphis Industrial Market

Atlanta-based Robinson Weeks Partners plans to develop Memphis Global Crossing in Memphis, the city’s first speculative industrial space in more than a decade. Construction is set to commence in September on a 421,470-square-foot speculative development, which will feature 32-foot clear heights with cross dock loading and 185-foot truck courts. The project is anticipated to deliver by summer 2019.

“There is pent-up demand for a new, modern, Class A logistics facility in Memphis proper, and Robinson Weeks has designed the perfect envelope to attract an employer to this site,” said Kemp Conrad of Cushman & Wakefield Commercial Advisors, LLC, who leads the team handling project leasing.

The site at Distriplex Farmers Drive and Global Drive is within the Distriplex Farms master-planned development. It is located 2.5 miles from the BNSF Intermodal Facility, and near the FedEx Hub at Memphis International Airport and Highway 78.
