Robin Hanson Promoted to New Role at Avenue5

Seattle-based Avenue5 Residential promoted Robin Hanson to senior vice president of operations. Hanson, who is based in Portland and joined the company as vice president of operations in 2016, reports to Lisa Ellis, Avenue5’s division president.

Ellis says, “As a highly effective strategic leader in Oregon, Robin has been essential in attracting and retaining performance-driven teams, and in ensuring that we continue to deliver performance results for our clients.”

Hanson’s promotion comes in the wake of a recent portfolio milestone for Avenue5 in Oregon, as the firm recently reached more than 70 properties and 10,000 units under management in the region.

Hanson, who began her career in the multifamily industry in 2000, has overseen performance for a variety of stabilized and lease-up assets throughout Oregon. She has been involved in managing acquisitions, overseeing large-scale lease-up and renovation projects, leading scope selection and implementation for construction projects, conducting detailed market analyses, creating budgets, and hiring and mentoring top talent.
