RMR Appoints New Head of Residential Acquisitions 

Summit Walia has been appointed vice president and head of Residential Acquisitions at The RMR Group. He will lead RMR Residential’s investment strategy nationwide.  

With over 20 years of real estate investment experience, including managing acquisitions exceeding $5.2 billion, Walia joins RMR from LaSalle Investment Management, where he led real estate acquisitions, and previously worked at JP Morgan Asset Management.  

Walia will lead RMR Residential’s team in sourcing and closing residential acquisitions across the U.S. The RMR Residential acquisitions team also includes Michael Palmer, Brent Josephson, and Thomas Evans.
