RL Cold, Graycor to Deliver Minneapolis Cold Storage Facility

RL Cold, a division of RealtyLink, LLC, broke ground on The Lakeville build—a 292,000-square-foot cold storage facility located in Minneapolis. Graycor Construction Company serves as the general contractor on the design-build project, with Ware Malcomb as the design partner.

RL Cold recently joined with Graycor, the City of Lakeville, the Lakeville Chamber, stakeholders and partners to kick off the construction of the state-of-the-art cold storage facility. The Lakeville build site is 28 acres and located in the 205-acre Airlake Industrial Park, just 4 miles to Interstate 35 and 20 miles to Minneapolis.

“Graycor is excited about partnering with RL Cold on the Lakeville build, which will meet the growing demand for cold storage solutions in the Minneapolis area,” said Tim Hanifin, Graycor Construction Company President.

The facility will offer a 50-foot clear height, 70-foot-deep truck dock, up to 34,000 pallet positions, 98 employee parking spots, 61 truck spots and 38 truck dock doors. The Lakeville build is slated to be completed in Spring 2025.
