RK Centers Snags Marlborough Retail Property for $9M
Privately held family-owned real estate development company RK Centers has acquired 225-235 Boston Post Road, a 57,970-square-foot retail plaza in Marlborough. The sales price was $8.6 million.
The plaza is adjacent to RK Center, another RK-owned retail property, and has been renamed RK Center II. Current tenants at the plaza include Chipotle Mexican Grill, Great Clips, Mattress Firm, Subway and Sullivan Tire. Up to 17,326 square feet of sub-dividable in-line space is available for lease at the property, and there are plans for a proposed 7,500 square foot out-parcel.
In 2019, RK Centers invested just under $100 million, buying seven new properties totaling nearly 500,000 square feet.
