Riverside Investment & Development Kicks off $750M Charlotte Mixed-Use with Land Buy

Riverside Investment & Development Company has closed on a 2.75-acre parcel of land in the South End neighborhood of downtown Charlotte, NC for $35 million.

Riverside plans to build a $750-million, three tower mixed-use development on the site, with construction on multi-phase project set to begin in late 2022. The project will encompass 800,000 square feet of office space, 650 residences and 50,000 square feet of retail space.

“The local economy continues to benefit from corporate relocations and dynamic population growth, and our location is tailor-made for a best-in-class, live-work-play environment that prioritizes occupant wellness, technology and unparalleled amenities,” said Riverside COO Anthony Scacco.

The seller is longtime owner Brian Dominick of Morehead Tryon Properties. CBRE’s Charlotte office will oversee leasing for the new property.
