Golf resort, beach club slated for Buillhead City

Riverside Golf Resort Under Review in Bullhead City

Plans for a potential development project that could transform an undeveloped swath of land into a resort/residential community are progressing in Bullhead City. The project, dubbed Emerald Bay, is proposed by developer S3 Group and could include an 18-hole championship course, a nine-hole par-3 course, a 200-key resort hotel and spa, a beach club/marina/racquet club, and a mix of luxury single-family residences and condo units. S3 is headed up by tech entrepreneur Britton Lee.

The 493-acre site is located on the Colorado River at the northwest corner of Highway 95 and Bullhead Parkway.

Approximately four acres of the land earmarked for the Emerald Bay project is currently owned by the Colorado River Union High School District. A proposed land exchange would have to be approved by the school district for the project to move forward. It has not yet been formally presented to the governing board.
