Riverfront Development Site in Duluth Trades for $20M

Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $20 million sale of the Chattahoochee Riverfront Property, a 148-acre development site in Duluth. The site includes 100 acres of developable land bordering the Chattahoochee river.

Jenny Wesselmann and Michael Wesselmann of Marcus & Millichap’s Atlanta office represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. Bob Johnson, Paul Johnson and William Bumgarner of Marcus & Millichap represented the undisclosed buyer in the sale.

“The acquisition gives the buyer an opportunity to masterplan a large tract of land in one of the state’s fastest-growing areas,” said Jenny Wesselmann. “Duluth’s population grew 25% from 2000 to 2014, and it is estimated that the population will increase an additional 36% through 2035.”
