River North Mixed-Use Project Taking Shape on East Bank
Construction on The Landings at River North is in full swing (photo courtesy of Nashville Business Journal). From what once was a railyard, the first phase of the development, which is expected to cost $220 million, will offer four buildings — two residential, one office and one retail and restaurant building. It will add 75,000 square feet of ground-level retail space and 80,000 square feet of office space to the East Bank in Nashville.
MRP Realty is leading the development. The property shares a border with Oracle Corp.’s future $1.2 billion campus and is a short walk from the Metro’s East Bank development initiative and the future $2.1 billion Titans stadium.
The two residential buildings, named Oxbow and Wayward, will offer 651 residential units, including studios, one-, two-bedroom apartments, a gym, pool decks and coworking spaces.
The retail and office buildings, which are between the river and apartment buildings, are expected to be completed in the spring.
