Ritz-Carlton Breaks Ground on Paradise Valley, AZ Resort

Scottsdale, AZ-based Five Star Development broke ground on The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley, AZ. The 205-room hotel is set on 20 acres overlooking Camelback Mountain at Lincoln Drive, and marks the first Ritz-Carlton resort in metro Phoenix and only the second in Arizona.

The property, which is set to open in March 2019, will feature a 400-foot-long pool, envisioned as the longest pool in North America, and includes four areas catering to couples, families and cabana gatherings. The hotel will be surrounded by 81 single-level villas, which are already sold-out and are expected to open when the hotel does.

The resort is part of a larger 122-acre master-planned development. There are also 40 single-family estate homes that range in size from 5,500 to 10,000 square feet, will cost more than $1 million, and are slated to go on sale later this spring.
