Rising Star Geri Borger Urgo Joins NewPoint as Head of Production
NewPoint Real Estate Capital, headquartered in Plano, TX, has added Geraldine “Geri” Borger Urgo as head of production. She’ll work to expand NewPoint’s origination prowess nationally and alongside NewPoint’s leadership, operations and marketing teams.
Borger Urgo joins the inaugural team at NewPoint, which includes CEO David Brickman, president Jeff Lee, COO Phil Spellberg and head of capital markets Elie Tannous. She brings a wealth of experience to her new role, including more than 15 years as a GSE lender.
Most recently, she managed conventional loan production in the Northeast and Southeast for the largest GSE lending platform in the U.S. Her experience also includes managing acquisitions for a national multifamily investment platform and as acting as an advisor to a family office focused on multifamily operations.
