Rising Inks Three Creative Occupiers at DTLA’s The CalEdison

Rising Realty Partners signed three leases at The CalEdison DTLA totaling 36,500 square feet of space at the historic Art Deco office building in Downtown Los Angeles. Rising and JV partners, Lionstone Investments, completed a series of improvements at the 14-story, 277,000-square-foot property including a revamped lobby with a gourmet coffee bar and renovated common areas. Rising says as a result, the asset at 601 W. 5th St. has experienced healthy absorption that continues to outpace the market.

The transactions include:
– TubeScience took roughly 20,000 square feet, relocating from Santa Monica, represented by Lee & Associates’ Doug Marshall and Ian Ameche
– Systems Source is taking 12,000 square feet for an office and showroom, represented by Savills Studley’s Luke Raimondo and Steve Card
– H&M Innovation Labs leased 4,500 square feet for a design office, represented by The Zacuto Group

Industry Partners’ Carle Pierose and Rob Erickson represented the landlord in all transactions.
