RISE, a minority-owned developer and construction firm based in Boston, has reached 80% completion on the ‘Essex St. Lofts’ project at 86 Essex Street in downtown Haverhill, MA.  

The project involves the restoration of a 7-story industrial building, which has been underutilized for many years. The team has recently completed the replacement of 210 windows on the historic façade and is now focusing on renovating the interior. 

The development includes 42 residential units and ground-floor commercial space. RISE aims to incorporate an art gallery space in the lobby, providing local artists with an opportunity to showcase their work at no cost. The project also features garage parking adjacent to the property and convenient on-street parking.
