Ripco Lands Gene Spiegelman as Principal, Vice Chairman
A few weeks after bringing Beth Rosen aboard from RKF, Ripco Real Estate has landed another big fish, with Gene Spiegelman joining the firm as a principal and vice chairman. Previously Spiegelman served as vice chairman and head of retail services North America at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was named top retail broker nationally five times.
“This is the ideal time to make a move, especially to a highly-regarded company such as Ripco,” said Spiegelman. “I will have the opportunity to partner with some of the best talent in the industry and work alongside dear friends.”
Among those friends are Ripco cofounders Peter Ripka and Todd Cooper, who called Spiegelman’s coming aboard “a monumental moment” for their company. “I feel that we just added one of the most accomplished and respected retail real estate professionals in the world to our organization,” added Ripka.
