Riot Games Grabs 200K SF at West Edge

Video game developer, publisher and esports tournament organizer, Riot Games, recently signed a 10-year lease for all 200,000 square feet of available office space at West Edge, a transit-oriented mixed-use development in West Los Angeles, according to Hines, Philena Properties and USAA Real Estate. The live, work, play destination was designed by Gensler, AC Martin and Rios.

Office amenities include private landscaped terraces on five floors, access to the new Expo Line station and sustainability features to enhance employee wellness. In addition to the office space amenities, West Edge will offer 600 luxury apartments, specialty grocer Gelson’s, up to eight restaurants, a one-half acre open-air plaza with al fresco dining, boutique retail and studio fitness options. The office building is registered to be LEED® Gold and WiredScore Platinum, and will pursue WELL Core and Shell Gold Certification.

“Riot has been a pillar of the West LA creative gaming community since their inception and as one of the most dynamic tech and gaming companies in LA, Riot will be a welcome addition to the development,” said Varun Akula, managing director at Hines.
