Rinchem Campus Addition Increases Footprint by Two-Thirds

Graycor Construction Company recently completed a nearly 57,000-square-foot Chandler campus expansion for Rinchem, a chemical and gas distribution center provider. The addition increases Rinchem’s local footprint by more than two-thirds, bringing its Chandler campus to more than 127,000 square feet and broadening the capacity of its Arizona-based chemical logistics operations.

The new space connects directly to Rinchem’s existing roughly 70,000-square-foot Chandler facility located at 6805 W. Morelos Pl. at the intersection of Interstate 10 and the Loop 202 freeway. All new construction activity took place while maintaining Rinchem’s ongoing operations within the campus.

“Graycor’s very first job – which happened 100 years ago this year – required us to build with excellence within a fully immersed live environment,” said Todd Ostransky, Graycor Construction Company vice president of the Southwest division. “Our ability to prevent disruption to our clients’ ongoing operations throughout construction is something we are known for and excel at.”

Graycor’s construction services for Rinchem included an expansion of the shell building and complete tenant improvements of the warehouse to include an approximate 5,000-square-foot mezzanine. The building expansion features concrete-tilt construction with a structural steel roof and deck system, fire-treated with explosion-proof equipment and materials.

The architect for the expansion is Butler Design Group.
