Ridgeline Plans 7M-SF Logistics Park in Minooka

Ridgeline Property Group said Tuesday it plans to develop a 416-acre logistics and rail park known as I-80 Logistics Park in Minooka, IL. With more than seven million square feet of Class-A industrial product on the boards, the project will be among Chicagoland’s largest.

Located seven miles from the Interchange of I-80 and I-55, also known as “The Crossroads of America,” the Park is designed to be a regional distribution hub to serve the Greater Midwest. Ridgeline is preparing to launch Building # 1, a 1.1-million-square-foot facility, in the spring.

“With a population of 101 million that can be reached within a half day, this project is ideally suited for large, big box e-commerce and rail users,” said Ridgeline CEO Greg Thurman.

Ben Harris, VP of development for Ridgeline’s Chicago office, will lead the project. Colliers’ Matthew Stauber and Jim Estus will handle leasing.
