Fireside Surf to join food drink and surfing at a Colony restaurant.

Ride the Wave in North Texas

Pretty soon, The Colony will be one of the top surf spots in Texas. Fireside Surf, at 5772 Grandscape Boulevard, will be the spot for tasty food and gnarly waves. No rocky reefs, sharks, cold water or crowded waves.

The wave pool at this new attraction will give you a perfect wave every time. Fireside’s website says it provides a non-threatening entry point for new surfers, a place to unwind and cruise for casual surfers, and a freestyle playground for experienced, core surfers…as well as plenty to eat and drink. While the pool gives the sensation of riding a long wave, you’re basically staying where you are. A state filing put the cost of creating the states first wave-infused restaurant at $4 million dollars.

Surfs up at Fireside Surf, this summer.
