Richmond Shopping Center Sold for $18M 

An affiliate of Hackney Real Estate Partners has acquired Merchants Walk, a grocery-anchored shopping center located on West Broad Street in Richmond, Virginia, for $18.4 million. The buyer’s name is not disclosed. 

The 219,972-square-foot shopping center was 98% leased at the time of the transaction and is anchored by Food Lion, AutoZone, and JoAnn Fabrics. John Owendoff and Catharine Spangler of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller.  

“Merchants Walk offers exceptional cash flow durability in one of the nation’s strongest and healthiest regional economies,” said Owendoff.
