Richman Breaks Ground on $100M San Diego Project
The Richman Group of California Development Co. broke ground on K1, a 222-unit residential development located near downtown San Diego’s Central Library. The 23-story tower includes more than 7,000 square feet of ground-level commercial space and six levels of parking.
The tower will offer 58 studios, 87 one-bedroom layouts and 77 two-bedroom residences. The Sliver, an adjoining low-rise building, will include two penthouses, a restaurant and urban garden.
K1 will feature a two-story “Sky Lounge” on the 19th floor, a resort-style pool area with a spa and fire pits on the fifth-floor podium level, and a two-level recreation center with lounge, demonstration kitchen and gym.
Located at 330 13th St., the 422,793-square-foot project is slated for delivery in early 2020. Greenwich, CT-based Richman Group is also under development on another residential project in downtown’s East Village, F11, which includes 99 units.
