
Richardson’s Galatyn Commons Completes Final Touch-Ups
With Bank of America’s leaving after their lease expired, Mapletree thought it might be a good time to start renovations on the 215,394 square foot Galatyn Commons Building C. Its one of four buildings that makes up Galatyn Commons in Richardson, Texas.
Several tenants, including companies from the financial, healthcare, real estate and aerospace sectors have signed large, long-term leases at Galatyn Commons since the recent renovation at its three other buildings, bringing the campus to 100% leased.
Renovation work within Building C, located at 2380 Performance Drive, will complete the campus-wide renovations across all four buildings. Upgrades will include an expansive double-height lobby, tenant lounge, collaboration space and updated elevator landings. As part of this campus renovation, Galatyn Commons plans to upgrade its 10,000-sq.-ft. fitness and wellness center and add an extensive tenant lounge– all Wi-Fi enabled for on-site employee workspace. All is set to be completed by December 2023. Cushman & Wakefield is handling lease arrangements.
