Ribbon Communications Inc. struck a deal with landlord Regent Properties for 107,000 square feet at Legacy Central in Plano, TX. The deal allows the cloud communications tenant to consolidate several office locations throughout the Dallas area into a state-of-the-art, Class A facility on Declaration Drive. The move also allows the company to achieve greater operational efficiencies.

Baron Aldrine, Steve Rigby and Layne Mayfield with CBRE represented the tenant, both in locating the space and negotiations. Nathan Durham and Duane Henley with Transwestern represented the landlord.

According to Ribbon’s Doug Carles, the space will allow Ribbon to build out a new R&D lab and customer-support center. “This facility will allow us to better serve and support our global customer base, from one of the most centrally-located, vibrant technology hubs in the world,” he added.
