Ria Expands Footprint at Buena Park’s Village Business Park

Ria is expanding its HQ in what brokers say was Orange County’s second largest office lease in Q2 2020. The new deal will add 60,869 square feet to the international money transferring services firm’s current lease at Stanton Road Capital’s Village Business Park in Buena Park to a total of 88,667 square feet.

Ria’s Shawn Fielder says, “As quickly as Ria is growing, we had to expand our space. But we also wanted to stay at Village Business Park for the reasons it attracted us in the first place. Its central location in Orange County gives us great access to a deep talent pool as we recruit, and our employees really benefit from the improved amenities.”

The 94%-leased Class A building at 7000 Village Dr. spans two buildings totaling 144,073 square feet. Recent improvements include a fully updated outdoor courtyard designed to be a “second space” for all tenants and modernized main entrance.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Tom Sheets and Quint Carroll handle property leasing. CBRE’s Cameran Lindee and Scott Kenny represented Ria.
