
Rhone Debuts Brick-and-Mortar Presence in Midtown
Continuing a trend toward brick-and-mortar presence for online retailers, men’s activewear brand Rhone has opened a pop-up shop at 1585 Broadway in advance of debuting its first permanent store. The pop-up Midtown Manhattan Retail Experience will be open through May 31, while Rhone Hudson Yards is set for a March 15 launch.
“Physical retail complements our e-commerce business because we get to interact with our customers in real life, and better understand what’s most important to them,” said Rhone CEO Nate Checketts. “Our Midtown Retail Experience & Hudson Yards stores represent a unique opportunity to show everyone on the world’s largest stage what we stand for and what we’re building.”
Both locations will focus on branding efforts beyond displaying the apparel collection. The 1585 Broadway pop-up will feature fitness classes and panel discussions, while the Hudson Yards store will incorporate functional design elements allied to the brand’s identity.
