Revised Plans for 10.6M-SF Santa Clara Mission Point MXU Submitted

Kylli, Inc. submitted revised plans for a mixed-use neighborhood at 3005 Democracy Way in Santa Clara, CA. The proposed project is spread across nearly 49 acres, and will feature 3.65 million square feet of office, 6,000 housing units, 400,000 square feet of retail, eight acres of parks and open space, a hotel, and education and daycare uses.

The North District site near Levi’s Stadium and California’s Great America is envisioned for roughly 10.6 million square feet of development, and would be among the Silicon Valley’s largest. It is also one of the first to bring forward plans in the city’s emerging urban district, targeted for more intense development to promote economic vitality and address regional needs.

Kylli’s Randi Gerson says, “While the existing office entitlement remains both valuable and significant, we believe this vision is a better, bolder plan for Santa Clara.”

The new plan, named Mission Point, includes a reduction in maximum building height by 30%; from 600 feet to 400 feet.
