Retail Lease Activity Picking Up in North Suburban Chicago, Glen Town Center Sees  Flurry of Signings

Glen Town Center in Glenview, IL  north of Chicago reports a substantial increase in lease activity, according to broker SVN Chicago Commercial.

There has been a flurry of activity recently with the most recent being the regional co-working space provider Offix, which just leased 6,200-sf at the center. Other recent signings include Chuck Lager America’s Tavern, owned by celebrity chef Fabio Vivani.

Also joining the center will be Stretch Zone, a national boutique fitness company with over forty locations nationwide with NFL Quarterback Drew Brees as a major franchisee.

Poke Burrito, a local unique Asian restaurant concept, will open its sixth location in 1,800 SF at the Town Center. And earlier last year, Perfect Wedding launched its first location in October specializing in luxury wedding and special event apparel and accessories. 

“The interest in The Glen was brisk in 2021and has increased greatly in January,” said Leslie Karr, Vice President at SVN | Chicago Commercial.
