Wolverine Interests and UT Dallas combine efforts on DART line Mixed-use-use project.

Retail, Housing, Hotels Headed for Richardson DART Station

The Points of Waterview will be built on DART’s new Silver Line. The Dallas Morning News reports it will include up to 4,000 apartment units, 40,000 square feet of retail, 500,000 square feet of office space and two hotels. The University of Texas at Dallas and Dallas-based developer Wolverine Interests will work together on the project. It will be on a 36-acre parcel in Richardson.

The initial design for the project showcases seven buildings on the site with a large open space facing the new DART station. Wolverine owns 15 acres of the site while UT Dallas owns property along the tract.

Richardson’s planning and zoning commission unanimously approved the proposed zoning change for the project, and the city council is expected to consider the development in September.
