Retail Center Owner Obtains Refi on 84K-SF Punta Gorda Development
Kitson & Partners inked a $17.7. million refinancing for Crescent B Commons, a 100%-leased, 84,410-square-foot Publix-anchored neighborhood shopping center located within the Babcock Ranch master-planned community at 42031 Cypress Parkway in Punta Gorda, Florida. Nationwide provided the senior loan on behalf of Kitson & Partners.
CBRE’s Richard Henry, Michael Ryan, Blake Cohen, and Taylor Crowder represented Kitson & Partners in securing the financing.
The center is anchored by a 48,387-square-foot Publix. The property is 100% leased to 18 tenants with 11.9 years of weighted-average lease term remaining and recorded 1.1 million visitor trips in the 12 months ended September 2025 — double its 2022 total.
According to CBRE, the Punta Gorda retail market posted a vacancy rate of 3.2% as of the third quarter of 2025, below its 10-year average of 3.3%. The Cape Coral-Fort Myers metropolitan statistical area ranked among the top 4% of all MSAs nationally for forecasted population growth from 2023 to 2040.
