Restaurant Openings Scheduled at Brooks

Chef Johnny Hernandez is bringing his Mexican-styled concepts to Brooks, on San Antonio’s south side. To that end, he will open a fourth location of La Gloria, and is relocating El Machito from its current location at the Alamo Quarry Market to Brooks. Both restaurants will be off Southeast Military and Kennedy Hill Drive, and will open in fall 2018.

El Machito features a menu of traditional Mexican grilled meats, such as cecina asada, cabrito and chorizo verde. Meanwhile, La Gloria will offer its menu of street foods from interior Mexico. Both restaurants will be among the first to be added alongside the 43-acre Greenline Park.
