Resnick Completes Refresh on Lobby of UES Luxury Building

Jack Resnick & Sons  completed construction on its newly redesigned lobby at Gracie Mews, its 35-story luxury residential tower on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Resnick partnered with Specter DeSouza Architects and general contractor R.P. Brennan to reimagine, refresh and brighten the lobby area of the 310-unit apartment building at 401 E. 80th St.

The brand-new lobby introduces custom wood wall panels fabricated and installed by millworking firm Bauerschmidt & Sons. It also features two Italian travertine marble lounge areas, a new concierge desk and an expanded resident mailroom and package room.

“Our collaboration with Specter DeSouza Architects and R.P. Brennan has resulted in a beautiful and elegant space that is both modern and timeless,” said Jonathan Resnick, president of Jack Resnick & Sons. “As longtime owners in the neighborhood, we are excited and proud that our vision for a reimagined Gracie Mews has become a reality.”
