It’s Official: Resideo to Set Up Shop at 901 E. Sixth

Resideo Technologies Inc. indicated it would establish its national headquarters at 901 E. Sixth St. in Austin. The smart home technology company reported in October 2018 that it would relocate its headquarters from Minnesota to the Capitol City, opening the new location in early 2019.

The 28,000-square-foot space will house approximately 120 employees and a software development center. Resideo will create close to 100 new jobs in software engineering, marketing, sales, finance and human resources.

Endeavor Real Estate Group developed and owns the 129,444-square-foot, East Austin office building. The Austin-based developer used a cross-laminated timber method of construction, which combines authenticity of an older building with state-of-the-art design. The building offers open workspaces, secure bike storage and operable windows.
