The year 2030 is expected to be a demographic turning point in the United States, as the last of the Baby Boomers will turn 65 years old. Over the next decade, the number of Americans reaching retirement age will skyrocket from 51.5 million to roughly 70 million.

The rapid aging of our population means that more individuals than ever will be seeking acute care, post-acute care and senior independent living services. To accommodate the demand, a boom in elder-care facilities is already underway, and competition is stiffening.

For these organizations, effective marketing is key to increasing and maintaining occupancy.
