Residences Will be the First Condo Property on Tiki Island

Texas-based Legend Communities named NAN Properties Developer Services the exclusive listing agent for its 70-unit condominium development, The Residences at Tiki Island near Galveston. The mixed-use project will include eight villas, a marina with restaurant and boathouse storage for more than 200 boats.

“This is our second development in the Galveston area,” said Haythem Dawlett, Legend Communities founder and CEO. “There is nothing else like it on Tiki Island.”

Legend Communities is in the final stages of design and has begun obtaining building permits for the waterfront resort. Set for groundbreaking in 2022, The Residences at Tiki Island will offer 70 two-, three- and four-bedroom condominium homes ranging from 1,200 to more than 3,000 square feet.

Project completion is anticipated in summer 2024. Condo pricing starts in the $800s. NAN Properties Developer Services expects to open an on-site sales office by December 2021.

“This project will be the first condominium property on Tiki Island and the first new construction development for the area in over 11 years,” said Nancy Almodovar, NAN Properties Developer Services CEO and president.

Comiskey Realty is the exclusive listing agent for the Villas, and prices will start at $1 million-plus.

A town of only 1.5 square miles, the Village of Tiki Island is five miles north of Galveston and 45 miles south of downtown Houston.
