Residence Inn by Marriott in Herndon Trades for $17M

Privately-owned hotel owner, operator and developer Stonebridge Cos., and joint venture partner The Pinkard Group, have acquired the Residence Inn by Marriott Herndon Reston, a 168-room hotel property in Herndon for $17.3 million.

Located at 315 Elden St., the hotel is 24 miles west of downtown Washington D.C., and two miles from Reston Town Center. Features of the hotel include complimentary Wi-Fi, a pool, barbecue and picnic area, complimentary breakfast buffet, 24-hour market, an onsite business center and meeting space.

The JV secured financing for the acquisition through Fulton Bank. The seller was not disclosed.
