Resia Planning 2 DFW Apartment Communities
Apartment developer Resia is planning to build a 12-story, $61 million rental community at 1000 Jones Street in Fort Worth. The company also filed permits for a 10-story $12.9 million parking garage next door. Construction could start in April 2025 and finish in February 2027.
Designs for the project have indicated it will consist of about 240 apartments and retail space on the ground floor of the project.
The location is in the south end of downtown, where Texas A&M-Fort Worth is under construction and the Fort Worth Convention Center is in its first phase of renovations.
The Dallas Business Journal reports Resia is also planning a $54 million, 310-unit project at 1000 West Weatherford St. on the west side of downtown Fort Worth. That project has not started construction. On its website, project designer GFF says it will feature a 12-story tower and a six-story parking garage.
