Republic National Distributing Plans Expansion to Pflugerville

Wine and spirits distributor Republic National Distributing Co. targeted Pflugerville, TX for relocation and expansion, with plans to make a $27 million investment in a 250,000-square-foot facility, and the employment of 304 people. The Pflugerville City Council recently approved a performance agreement between RNDC and the Pflugerville Community Development Corp. The agreement includes a $70,000 jobs grant per year, provided RNDC relocates or hires 207 employees in the first year and 97 employees in year two.

The new facilities will be on 32 acres at Pecan Street and SH 130 in Pflugerville, on Austin’s north side.

RNDC, headquartered in the North Texas city of Grand Prairie, had been looking for a permanent Austin-area regional headquarters for two years. “We considered sites in other communities but decided to make our new home in Pflugerville due to several factors including location and available workforce,” said RNDC’s Steve Feldman.
